NAPRO® R-5000 is specially formulated to help residual-bunker fuels obtain top performance. Large quantities of unstable, unsaturated particles such as gums, resins, and polymers are present in residual fuels. NAPRO® R-5000 causes these particles to be burned and returns them to solution in the fuel. The fuel can now enter the combustion chamber with less clogging and with reduced carbon deposits, smoke and fuel consumption.

More useable heating value BTU's per gallon of fuel means less fuel oil is required to maintain the same temperature or steam pressure. In oil fired furnaces and boilers, this provides operational and economic benefits.
